Common Name(s): Forest Walking Catfish
Scientific Name: Clarias Leiacanthus
Local Name(s): Tor Sat
Precaution: Venomous spines at pectoral fins
Edible: Yes
CNR Time: 10 mins

This catfish looks similar to the Common Walking Catfish, found mainly in forested streams hiding under leaf litter. They are typically darker in colour, and the white spots on their body are larger and more distinct. Its head is more squarish and the spines on its pectoral fins seem shorter as well.

Like the Common Walking Catfish, they can survive out of water for a long time and are able to wiggle short distance on land to find another water source. You can catch them on bread and worms.
