Common Name(s): Blackspot Snapper, Dory Snapper
Scientific Name: Lutjanus Ehrenbergii
Local Name(s): [??]Teeboon-Tanda
Precaution: Harmless
Edible: Yes
CNR Time: 1 min

At a first glance, this snapper looks like a cross breed of a Spanish Flag Snapper and Russell's Snapper due to its yellow stripes and black spot. They're not a cross breed and is less commonly found(locally) compared to the two aforementioned snappers. They can be typically found near rocky areas, and more often near coral reefs around the southern islands.

The girth of the body is slightly more rounded compared to both the Spanish Flag and Russell's. Their size range is similar to the Russell's Snapper, but like most snappers can be encountered in groups. Live/dead prawns are suitable for catching them.
