This halfbeak is similar to the Blackbarred Halfbeak but has no spots on its body. Its beak is also shorter and red in colour at its tip. Behaviour is simiar to the Blackbarred Halfbeak as well. Effective baits to use are prawn meat and small shrimps. Anglers prefer the blackbarred over this one.
